Leicester Penguins Swimming Club

Michael Reeve won young Sportsman of the year last night in the Leicester Mercury Sports Awards. The Club also picked up the award for Club of the year.

This is a magnificent acheivement by both Michael and the Club as a whole and would not have been possible without the support of all the members who work extremely hard to make Penguins such a successful club. Give yourselves a big pat on the back.

Gareth Keating narrowly missed out on an individual award. Carla Read was a runner up as part of the City of Leicester under 13 Medley team who won in the Nationals this year. Being nominated is a great honour and the club would like to congratulate Gareth and Carla on their nominations.
